I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (CTP) and Certified Atlas Assistance Dogs Trainer (AT) with more than 40 years of experience working with animals. My background includes extensive work as a certified Search and Rescue (SAR) K9-team handler, instructor, and evaluator.
I have developed and trained service dogs for a range of needs, including mobility assistance and public access readiness, and have coordinated a puppy raising program for a nonprofit organization.
I am committed to positive, science-based methods, and I’m deeply passionate about helping both dogs and their handlers build confident, successful partnerships.
I believe learning is a lifelong process and actively seek continuing education opportunities to refine my skills and stay informed by current research.
Working with clients, I’ve seen again and again that success doesn’t come from pressure,
it comes from recognizing the right moment to ask more, slow down, or take the next step together.
You don’t need a perfect dog
You don’t need to fit someone else’s mold
You need guidance and support that believes in your team
